Along with custom furniture and cabinetry, Lower Corner Millworks offers custom sign engraving as one of our services. Below are an assortment of local businesses and personal gifts that we have produced in recent years. With a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine, we have the ability to accurately engrave text and images on to a wide range of materials. Contact us for your custom sign or gifts!
2 Basket Street Yoga.
This client had barn board from their property that we recycled to create a double-sided hanging tree sign and a smaller portable sign. After engraving we painted and seal the signs to withstand the harsh New England winter.
Sandwich Animal Hospital
A project for our local vet here in Sandwich, this sign was engraved into a PVC board with painted black lettering. This material is perfect for outdoor signs and with a sturdy maple boarder painted to match, this simple sign will guide animal owners to the vet for years to come.
Letarte Property Maintenance.
This client approached us to create a mockup for a sign at their business. We created this 1/3 scale model of the eventual 6’ x 3’ pine sign out of 3/4” MDF. Creating a model for our clients gives them the opportunity to see what the final product will look like and address any possible changes. Our CNC makes quick and efficient work of the MDF to give this model a crisp finish.
Sunshine Park Disc Golf.
This sign was donated to the local disc gold course in Sandwich, NH. Another sign engraved into PVC sign board, this was a case of reverse engraving. We started with a painted black board and removed material to reveal the eventual logo. This sign now guides golfers to the tee boxes of our local free course. A MUST if you are near the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
Custom Gifts.
We always get requests for custom sign/engraving projects near the Holidays. This client requested a set of signs for a friend’s chicken coop. Stained pine boards with a water-based polyurethane, a detail ogee edge finish and adjustable hoops allow this sign to be proudly displayed outside the coop with style.
Wedding Season.
Wedding gifts are a great example of where Lower Corner Millworks can provide a unique service. Have an idea? We can make that idea happen. This project was a 3D sign where we cut out lettering on our CNC machine and attached them to a weathered barn board.

Signs for the Home.
Whether inside or out, we can create a unique sign for you. This 24” x 12” solid Maple sign sits at the end of a customer’s driveway to guide them home. The contrast between green paint and natural Maple color gives this sign that sought after New England look.
